Very little is known about the life of Julian of Norwich other than the mystical experiences she relates in her book. Her name probably wasn't "Julian" and she may or may not have been a woman religious. What we know is the wonderful depth of h|About the Author|Georgia Crampton is a Professor Emerita of English at Portland State University.
